Service update April 4

Dear all – really hope you are managing okay in our new world - at least we Cantabs have had practice at living without shops and services … so we know we can do this.

As part of the NZ Independent Audiologists group (IANZ) which approached the authorities on behalf of the hearing impaired, Hearing Excellence has been granted limited “essential service status” by MBIE/MoH to carry out aid repairs and replacements. This is to help support our patients who need to keep hearing to their best. We still cannot offer face to face appointments at the clinic.

If you need batteries, filters or those tubes you can replace yourself, just leave a message by phone to 379 3366 with your name and contact phone and we will call back to arrange post/courier or delivery.

Some hearing aid manufacturers are also now able to offer limited emergency aid repair services so again leave us a message or email and we will get back to you.  OVERALL - if you have any problems or queries, please just phone or email a message – at the moment Jeanine is running the clinic from home but picks up emails and messages regularly.

Hope you all stay very well.
