Update March 23

UPDATE

Hope all are keeping well in these rapidly changing times. In response to the PM announcing yesterday that we are now on Covid-19 Level 2 alertness, we have decided to even more actively minimise your risk of contact with any other than a receptionist and your Audiology clinician when you are at Ferry Road.

We had already removed reading materials and asked patients not to turn up early and were asking questions of patients about their health and recent travel before confirming their appointments.

We now suggest you stay in your car and enter the clinic no more than 5 minutes before your due time. We ask you to wash your hands on arrival and departure. We will no longer offer refreshments.

We will stagger appointment times so patients have less chance of meeting, we can post out consumables if you phone or email us, we can take repairs from you in your car, we can do home visits if allowed and we can return any factory repairs by courier.

MAJOR SERVICE changes that will commence from tomorrow are:

1) Suspension of OPEN CLINICS for small repairs – just contact us and we will make you a personalised time (PH 379 3366).

2) Suspension of visiting EAR NURSE services – they can be accessed at their clinics separately in Ferrymead (Ear Hygiene Ph 384 4668), or Riccarton (Ear Health Canterbury on PH 348 8716) or Ashburton (Senior Centre Ph 307 1459) or at their other visiting sites. Contact the ear nurses directly for appointments now please.

As the overall situation is evolving so rapidly, we seek your patience as we adapt and try to keep all of us as safe as possible. Thank you.

CONTACT US WITH ANY QUERIES and we will do our absolute best to find a solution. Best wishes from Jeanine, Sandra and the team.
